   I just got finished with my mentorship with Uni. I found her to be so insightful and extremely helpful so I just have to leave a review. I met Uni and Baba in the midst of a awakening where I started experiencing strong, vivid and sudden communication from the spirit world. For years I tried pushing it away only to find it came on stronger. So I’d try to cope with it while keeping it a secret from everyone I knew. I never had any guidance for coping or properly handling spirit contact. Today Uni and I talked about what ancestor veneration is and that not all ancestors have your highest good in mind. Same as any other spirit that seeks communication. I told her what ive been experiencing and how ive been responding and she opened my eyes to the mistakes I’ve been making, like blindly trusting every spirit that comes in has good intentions or trying to fix spirits problems by approaching their loved ones with messages. Apparently I don’t have to save every spirit i meet haha. She gave me insight and pointers on how to handle not only ancestors but all spirits that I will encounter. She really opened my eyes to what I’ve been doing wrong and how I’m lucky that I haven’t had any seriously negative attachments. I’m going to continue working with her to learn the proper ways to work with my ancestors as well as any mediumship experiences that I have.
